Ravenna/Roosevelt

Ravenna, located in northeastern Seattle, was named after Ravenna, Italy. While it’s widely considered residential, you’ll find everything you ever needed or wanted in the nearby University Village, home to 120 stores and restaurants, including the second-ever Starbucks (and the largest) location. Ravenna also boasts an enormous and beautiful park, eponymously named, full of multiple species of trees, a plethora of trails, and other activities.

Roosevelt is a neighborhood in north Seattle, bordering Ravenna (and parts of Green Lake), home to several shops and dining spots, including the longest established vegetarian restaurant in Seattle, the Sunlight Café! Cowen Park resides here, sharing land with the aforementioned Ravenna Park. Roosevelt is also expecting a light rail stop in 2021, making it even more convenient to get to and from other parts of the city than it already is!
